Life Drawing
This course places primary emphasis on the development of visual and perceptual skills related to drawing the human body. It covers exercises in the anatomical, structural, formal, and expressive factors of figure drawing.

pre- instructions
Draw the sculpture without instruction and try new materials such as conté
I haven't drawn any statues or persons in life, but I have drawn figures from photos and images. It was kind of hard to draw the statue from life since I am accustomed to zooming in and out from a grid, but it was fun and challenging.

5 minutes 2 poses
Draw the models' gestures. Each pose lasts 5 minutes, and I have to draw more detailed gestures for each pose.
For the 5-minute poses, we had to draw the whole body still with more details. The first time drawing the 5-minute poses was hard because I felt that I could get more details. However, it was really fun.

20 minutes
Draw a part of the body and add shadows and details, trying to capture the human body accurately. If possible, add background.
For this, I started by looking at the model through a viewfinder to get a good composition. Then, I began to map out the pose, which took about 3 to 5 minutes. Then, I began to draw the details and then add shading. The first drawing I drew in the 20 minutes was complicated because I couldn't get the concept of drawing big and composition.

Statues
Taking a break from models, we started to draw statues and be creative.
For the female statue, I wanted to make it as realistic and give it life as possible; however, I didn't know how to include the hand, so I left it out. For the male statues, I wanted to focus more on the torso.

2 minutes 5 poses (gesture)
I have to draw the models' gestures. Each pose lasts 2 minutes, and I have to draw gestures for each pose; 5 in total.
I have drawn gestures before, but they're from photos or images. For the first gesture drawing of the two-minute, five-pose gesture, I was trying to figure out how big the five poses should be to work. I started by drawing stick figures to get the pose and movement and then filled in the rest of the figure.

10 minutes 2 poses
Draw the models' gestures. Each pose lasts 10 minutes, and I have two drawings of gestures for each pose.
For the 10-minute poses, we had to draw the whole body still with more details and later focus on one part of the body. Drawing the 10-minute poses was hard the first time because I felt that I could get more information, but I added shading and practiced more with the composition

20 minutes +
Draw a part of the body and add shadows and details, trying to capture the human body accurately. Add a background and should be more creative and be finished.
For this, I started by looking at the model through a viewfinder, trying to get a good composition. Then, I started to map out the pose, which took about 5 to 8 minutes. Then, I started to draw the details and then add shading. After that, I would use the kneaded eraser to put highlights, and then, if I had time, I would blend everything and then add more details. Then I would use the side of the conté to add background
