pure-contour
Pure contour line drawing is the simplest form of linear expression. The line describes visible edges of an object. With only looking at the object.
At first I didn't like doing this technique because the drawings didn't look like the object, however over time it was fun seen how close I was on having everything portion or similar to the object.

spontaneous pure contour
Spontaneous pure contour(SPC); pure contour of a person. Focusing on the subject (person) and try to draw without looking at the paper.
This like pure contour was hard for me because I have only done one self portrait in middle school and a portrait in high school and jumping into portrait with out instructions and just for observation was difficult but I liked it, it was fun seen how it kinda looks like them but at the same time it doesn't.

daily sketches
Daily sketches; focus on lighting, range of values, use of elements of art, observe and life drawing
This sketches were done by medium with blue pen and graphite of ranging to 15 to 20 minutes spend. I focused more on lighting and range of value. I used to spend more time on doing sketches, but now I learned to sketch fast and with more information.

perspective
Perspective; technique to create the linear illusion of depth. As objects get further away from the viewer they appear to decrease in size at a constant rate. It is to create a realistic impression of depth, 'play with' perspective to present dramatic or disorientating images.
This sketches were easier than the studies of the buildings. For the sketches I have already previous knowledge of first and two point perspective, however I have never drawn a building before and it was tedious getting the correct angels and straight lines. I hated the process but enjoyed the outcomes.

lanscape drawing
Landscape drawing; explore various qualities; such as light, color, and texture.
It was fun sketching landscape in the simple form and not doing every little detail.

life drawing
Life drawing; It is especially useful to have a real life reference if they are attempting to depict a complex movement in their work, which will require some form of life drawing experience and skill. It develops your eye to see in REAL time. Your brain is analyzing the scene around you in 3-D and deciphering how to crop it on the page.
This was kinda difficult because I am used to drawing from a photo or an image, so sitting their and constantly looking at the object was something that I haven't experience until this class but it developed new skills.

portrait sketches
Portrait sketches; show us what a person looks like, but they can also capture an idea of a person or what they stand for. Portraits can also tell us how a person wants to be seen, and capture a particular mood that the sitter is experiencing.
This are mostly studies from other artist as well two self portraits and notes/sketches from class. I believe I learned a lot more about portraits such as sighting and the dimensions of the face of forward, side, and three-quarter portraits.

more studies
Studies; to understand the problems involved in rendering subjects and to plan the elements to be used in finished works, such as light, color, form, perspective and composition.
This studies are cross and counter hatching, continuous gesture, upside-down drawing from Picasso, and "The Preacher" by Charles Whites. It was fun doing the upside-down drawing, and I love drawing "The Preacher".
